Water damaged cieling from Air conditioning installation mishap in Glen Arm, Maryland
This home in glen arm experienced a flood in its living room and dining room from an inproperly installed Air conditioning unit. Over the course of 3 days, the water build up behind 2 layers of drop cieling, until it eventually started disintegrationg and falling onto the floor. SERVPRO of Sparrows Point / Essex / Chase arrived quickly to the water damaged home and got to work. They removed the wet layers of drop cieling and discovered plaster underneathe. They then angled a fan upward and installed dehumidification units to help dry up the water and to prevent mold growth. While that dried, the hard wood floor was tented as well with a system called "Injecti-dry". See more on Injecti-dry in the following images below!
